The Massanera crag is located under the ridge of Pratomagno and is characterized by a beautiful compact sandstone that enhances the adherence and use of the lower limbs. The wall in summer is in the shade in the early hours of the afternoon and the position offers a splendid panorama over the Reggello valley.
Access: Follow the signs for Reggello and then Vallombrosa-Saltino; about a mile before you arrive, turn right to Cascina Vecchia. Continue on the dirt road for about 600 meters for a wine to arrive at a holiday home (the Cascina Vecchia, in fact). Here you can park or if you have off-road vehicles, continue on dirt road for about 3 kilometers until you reach the cross of Massa Nera. Going down the path, on the left there is the cliff just under the cross.
