Finale Ligure - Bric Scimarco

  • Bric Scimarco's crag in Finale Ligure

  • Access: Direction Bric Scimarco "Superiore", only instead of taking the last right turn for the classic ledge of "Fessurina etc", continue straight uphill and follow for about two minutes a track that takes you right under two clear red caves ( very well visible even from the dirt parking of Monte Sordo) .The path is covered in about 20 minutes walking. Unfortunately, the exposure (South-East) makes it difficult to attend during the summer, but at about 18 the shots go in the shade and maybe at the end of the day. Two fixed ropes placed in the last part of the path will help you in identifying the sector. I recommend, do not expect long and continuous (or particularly beautiful and difficult) walls such as those of "Classic Scimarco". This is a sector with short, medium-easy and not particularly interesting routes (apart from a couple of shots) all that could still be pulled out of Scimarco, especially considering that the easy routes were rather scarce.
