Finale is one of the most beautiful climbing areas in Italy that, together with the well organized and equipped seaside resort of Finale Ligure, is an ideal destination for a climber's holiday. Among the most beautiful crags are Monte Sordo, Rocca di Corno, Rocca di Perti and the Rian Cornei cliffs.
Access: Rocca di Perti can be reached by car leaving the motorway at the Finale exit, then following the signs for Finalborgo, a small jewel set in the steep Ligurian coast. Without entering the town, turn left towards Calice Ligure and, before passing under the highway viaduct, turn right (dry curve) passing the houses of S.Sebastiano, S.Eusebio and Castel Gavone. After the church the road narrows and continues for a few kilometers until a junction with a ban on the two roads where it is possible to leave the car. We are in correspondence of a lawn with two tables and wooden benches. From here (just from the tables) begins the path that forks almost immediately: on the right it soon reaches the attack of "the edge" and continues towards the "Northern Sector", home of the frequented ascent routes "Simonetta" and "Il old"; while on the left it leads to the "Versante Nord" and continues up to the summit of the fortress.
