• Sistiana crag * EDIT: as of 18 September 2013, the elephant panza sector was closed by barriers

  • Access: For those coming from the motorway: a few kilometers after the Lisert toll booth, take the Sistiana junction. Go back in the opposite direction, on the state road, pass Sistiana, turn left following the signs for Sistiana Mare. Arrived at the bay, a small road on the right leads up to the walls (i mm). In summer parking is subject to charges; you can leave the car directly in the bay and go on foot (5 mm.) The cliff is located on the right side of the Sistiana bay, which used to host a campsite. Now the area has fallen into neglect and a purifier has been built that disfigures the environment. However, there are interesting walls, with a particular rock, with rivulets and other concretions originating from the water. The cliff is advisable even in the hottest days, when in the afternoon the shade allows you to climb in the middle of summer. In any case a few meters away there is the sea for a pleasant combination of cliff and beach.
