Falesia also called Avancorpo di Sinistra famous for its beauty and proximity to the refreshment from Guido. An agreement was signed with the Park Authority to update the restraining rules that forbade climbing throughout Gaeta to preserve the natural ecosystem, including the cliffs of S.Agostino and the Arenuta beach. The agreement was signed in 2009 between the CAI, the Alpine Guides, the Park Authority and the Region. After that agreement the panels in the park were changed, which warned of bans. Unfortunately, the panels have been vandalized and destroyed over the years. The panel in PDF format is attached to the Crag report: Panel bans Climbing Gaeta 2008
Access: For those coming from Rome, you must pass Terracina and walk along the via Flacca in the direction of Gaeta, after passing Sperlonga there are 4 tunnels. After the tunnels on the left there is the place of refreshment famous for climbers Guido il mozzarellaro, where there is also a good parking. For those coming from the opposite direction (Naples or Cassino) you must reach Flacca at Gaeta and follow it, towards Terracina, until the junction for Irti, here, after 800 m, there is Guido. Leave the car to cross the bridge towards Terracina, at the end of which the path that leads to all sectors begins. For the sectors (L) and (O) it is also necessary to overcome the tunnel and continue for 150m. Here one meets one's own (L), shortly before which an arrow and a red mark signal the beginning of a path leading to (O). It is possible to reach (O) also by descending with two 25m doubles from (P), or from the path starting from (A) along (N).
