The sasso galletto is not equipped, but it can only be climbed in Deep Water. Being vertical on the WEST side and slightly overhanging on the EAST side, falls into the water are in total safety and the seabed is 20 meters deep. The SOUTH side is not scalable, while for the NORTH side you have to pay more attention because there are a series of walls that could make the fall a little more dangerous. The WEST side is very easy, there are 3 lines on the 5th grade (Down the corner 5A, Bronx Way 5B + and Central Crack 5C). The NORTH side has two lines, one of 6A (Italy-Germany) and another on the 5th grade passing in the dihedral. The EAST side is the most difficult, it has three practicable and very beautiful lines. - The main one follows the crack and has two variants (one in which you go up the final straight wall and the other in which you come out on the dihedral), 7A and 6B +. - The most beautiful line is called Sbratto bianco 7A + (it follows the white flow on the right of the wall, the edge on the left is not allowed and the exit is straight).
- Section: lombardia
Access: Coming from Laveno (VA) you enter the first tunnel and practically immediately there is a large parking lot on the left, enter and park here. Continue, northwards, inside the tunnel on foot for 100 meters, then on the left there is an evident path that leads all the way to the stone. Not even 3 minutes of approach.
