Subiaco - Balzo dell Antillara

Beautiful crag that offers rock face climbing on well-compacted rock. The crag is located in the beautiful Aniene Valley near the town of Subiaco

Access: From Subiaco go up towards the historic center, passing through Piazza Santa Maria della Valle, reaching the locality "Le Camere 72" (on the GPS). Park at these coordinates as indicated on the site (GPS: 41.9240, 13.1104). The approach takes approximately 20 minutes in total. Follow the concrete road where you can find a bar, after which the road continues for about 200m. Continue to the right for a barn and continue following the white / red CAI signs along a green network. Follow the path that bends to the left. Continuing following and CAI bands you will come to a sign with directions to the streets. Here you leave the path that continues to the left and go straight up following little men and pink stamps. Reached the end of the fence between two oaks, continue right along the path. After about 100 meters the pink signs and stamps indicate to follow the path to the left going up among the olive trees. At the end of the path you reach the base of the Lo Scudo sector. To get to the La Conca sector, continue along the path that climbs to the right of the Lo Scudo sector, following the pink stamps and the little men. 5 minutes on the trail.
