The gulf of Porto is a gulf on the west coast of Corsica. It takes its name from Porto, a city located on the western coast of the island, between the cities of Ajaccio and Calvi, framed between the Calanchi di Piana in the south and Capo Girolata in the north; the latter, together with the Scandola Nature Reserve, as parts of the Gulf of Porto, were included in 1983 in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
