Gran Dubbione

  • It is a beautiful natural amphitheater with single pitches of medium-low difficulty, with the possibility of future expansions. The approach on foot from the parking lot is short (about 20 minutes) and absolutely not binding.

  • Access: From Turin take the highway to Pinerolo at the exit of the southern ring road of Corso Orbassano. After leaving Volvera, follow the signs for Pinerolo, then for Sestriere. Take the Val Chisone and take the SS 23 up to Pinasca, just beyond Dubbione. Once past the village of Pinasca, take the via Martiri di Castelnuovo right that leads to the road to Grandubbione. After about 6 km, at Serre Marchetto, the road crosses the Gran Dubbione valley, rapidly losing altitude, then starting to climb again, cutting with a half-slope the slope strewn with towers, pinnacles and rocky walls of Mount Cucetto. Just before the first houses of Serre Moretto, about 9 km from Pinasca, turn left into a narrow and steep asphalt road. Follow it until it becomes a dirt road; proceed for a short stretch along the dirt road, until you reach the small parking lot near a bridge over the stream. We are in Borgata Rocceria, about 1000 meters above sea level.
