La Balma

  • An old cliff where some single pitches had been equipped by Giancarlo Baret and Donato Lella in the 90s. Recently a new sector (DAHU) has been added to the three existing ones and new itineraries have been opened on all four sectors.

  • Access: Go up the Val Chisone up to Roreto, at the exit of the village immediately after the fork for the Bourcet valley take a paved road on the right; when the road turns right and becomes a dirt road, follow it until the first bend and leave the car (same road as the Pilastro di Vignal). From here, crossing right into the woods and following the yellow signs, you arrive in a few minutes to the first sector (Giancarlo); the GIMERU sector is located upstream and the other two on the right.
